V10 Ruined my POD HD500!!!

I used to be satisfied with it as a backup and for rehearsals, but at last night's rehearsal I suffered withdrawal symptoms. By the end of the night, I actually kicked the HD500. Cliff, you should be lurking on street corners giving the kiddies free samples. Here's comes another one on the comeback for a second purchase.

Why you guys throw all of your "old stuff" out. Maybe someday you need something, a resistor or transistor... and well.. if you'd kept your Line6 stuff guess you had lots of electronic parts to tinker with. :lol

Haven't even done firmware updates on the Pod.

I gave my X3L to my bro. I'm not going to diss it, I loved and still love the X3L... it's a quite nice looking plastic toy.

I have come to the Axe FX 2 from the HD500 as of last week. I was running the HD500 through a GT1000FX.

Suffice to say, HD500 went up on eBay within hours of hearing the tones I was getting out of the Axe FX 2 --- and that was just using the presets and toggling the blocks on and off!

I know the HD500 can be used as a MIDI board, but I'm going to use those eBay funds towards an MFC-101...

I think you are missing a decimal point in your post.

V1.0 ruined the HD500 for me.
