Using Two Guitar Signals

Cool demo I made of two guitar signals being processed by an Axe-Fx Ultra. Each signal has its own chain within the patch and you can record the guitars on different tracks separately.

I followed this tutorial on programming it Axe-FX II – Using 2 guitars at once | Katsu Kuri Media Blog

I can’t remember what the tutorial says about cabs, but I recommend using stereo cabs on each signal because stereo mode gives you the option to pan the cabs on one side to keep the guitar tracks separate for recording.

Both guitars in this video are going through the exact same setups and settings, so you can really hear the difference in guitars.

If you had two loudspeakers you could easily use this configuration live as long as you keep the range of tones you’ll be using to a minimum.

FYI mono cabs can be used if you only need one cab sim per guitar. Set cab block balance fully left or right as needed.
