Using the FC12 without FM3 switches

Is there any reason a person couldn’t put the FM3 in a rack (drawer or shelf) and use an FC12 to do everything without accessing the three switches on the unit? Surely they’d have to mess with the switch layout, but could it be done?

I did this because I played enough east coast heavy shows in the early 2k’s to see what a line of stage divers can do to a pedal board lol
