Using external OD - why didnt I try this before

Just for laughs I thought I would put my el chepo Danelectro Coolcat transparent OD in front of the Axefx (guitar - OD - Axefx) not really expecting much, I have been using the Axefx internal OD's previously and have been reasonably happy with them, but wow, wasn't expecting such a great result.

Can only imagine what a higher quality external OD would do for the Axefx.

If you have got a spare OD pedal gathering dust try it out on the Axefx, it might be a revelation :)

I think that the TOD's were pretty much clones of the Timmy; I believe that they had to change them because they got busted or something. I remember some big blow up over it.

I had one just to see what all the rage was back in my tube amp days and it was a pretty killer little pedal.
