Usercab for Acoustic ?

Can someone please recommend a cab/mike combination for direct recording of acoustic guitar. I only use the Axe cabs and have been trying a lot of them, ended up with 4x12, 20 w, without mike, but are not quite satisfied. I hope you can help :)

I don't really get why you would want to use a cab IR for that, they are intended for something completely different.

I'd suggest using some of the IR's that were made from all the acoustic pedals or maybe just a tube pre amp followed by a graphic eq?

You are both right, I went in the wrong direction, i´m getting much better results without.
Sometimes you are not able to see the forest because of all the trees :) (a danish saying)
