Use Axe Fx II for BOTH front of amp AND fx loop

Hi all,

Does anyone know of a way to do this? In case it matters, I am trying to do this with a Mesa Mark V.

I'd really like to use my compression/wah/etc in the Axe Fx running to the front of my Mark V PLUS run the chorus/verb/delay/etc. through the loop on the Mark V.

I'm thinking the answer is no, but with all the brilliance out there someone might know of a way

I haven’t tried it but I’m guessing you’d make a preset like this:

Input 1>>>compression/wah/etc>>>output 1>>>amp input
amp loop send>>>input 2>>>chorus/verb/delay/etc.>>>output 2>>>loop return.

You can probably find out if I’m right by looking in the manual.

Look for 4 cable method or 4cm in the manual. I ran my Triaxis rig like this for quit a while.
