USB Buffer Size FM3 vs Axe III Options Different?

I had never compared the USB buffer size settings for the III vs. FM3 and noticed on my units that the options in the AXEIII are 8-256 and on the FM3 they are 48-1536.

Being pretty ignorant in this kind of thing, why the difference? I realize dividing FM3 values by 6 gives you the same numbers for both.

I believe the reason is CPU capacity. The FM3 isn't capable of running at lower sizes like the AxeFX III, so it doesn't offer the same range.
