USB Audio PnP Status (Linux)

Last time I bought the FM3, I was hoping to make it the center of my audio world (interface, recording, gigging, everything). But the USB audio was glitching out and I returned it. Just wondering if anyone has a setup doing either of these:

1) Linux based (I use Manjaro and Jack)
2) FM3 on 24/7 as a main audio interface

Is linux supported by Axfx USB fw? maybe that was the source of glitching.

It's never been officially supported, but as a PnP audio device it should just "work" like other USB interfaces (like my Scarlet one), theoretically with any OS.

I was able to get it to work with some tweaks a year or two ago, I even hacked AxeEdit to work under Wine, but the glitching was bad. The problem is I want this to be my ONLY interface, because minimalism. So it has to work like an interface.

You may have to add the FM3 id into in this quirk table: https://github.com/torvalds/linux/blob/master/sound/usb/implicit.c#L52
Without that, likely there will be no identification of the feedback EP and you can end up with the audio artifacts.
