Upgraded from FM3 to FM9 Turbo. Do I need to reset amp blocks?

I just traded my FM3 for an FM9 Turbo. A very, very happy day!

I had exported all of my FM3 presets prior to installing the latest Beta, and the FM9 was already on FW7.

I've now dropped my preset bank into the FM9, and as I understand from @Admin M@ 's video, those presets are now already under the new firmware, as the FM9 does that automatically, unlike the FM3.

If I understood correctly, the FM9 also automatically amends amp parameters to the new correct default values without needing an amp block reset when updating firmware.

However, my presets were not in the FM9 when it was updated from FW6 to FW7, and they were exported from the my FM3 that was running the latest release firmware prior to the new beta. Are they now updated just because I dropped them into the FM9 on FW7, or are they still running the previous firmware's default amp values because the FM9 was not updated from 6 to 7 with the presets in the unit? And if that is the case, shall I revert to firmware 6, add the presets, and then re-update to FW7?
