Unknown Effect

Hey Folks! So I was jamming out to the song Burning Man by Dierks Bentley and Brothers Osborne and I heard this interesting whale-like sound. I'm not exactly sure what it is or how to achieve it, but I think its a tremolo? Not sure.

It can be heard at the 47-second mark in this video:

Anyone know what this effect is or how to achieve it?

Sounds like a tremolo to me! Stick a tremolo block in there and just experiment with it that shouldn't be a hard one to achieve. For that quick in and out of the effect like I'm hearing at :47, another cool idea would be to set up an IA as trem with a momentary switching

momentary switching being you press it and it stays on for a bar and then automatically turns off?

momentary as the effect will stay on for as long as you hold down the switch. Once you take your foot off the switch the effect turns off.
