Unable to Download Patches from Axe-III Preset Exchange

For some reason I'm unable to download the any link from the xchange even tho I've downloaded patches in the past. This is the message I'm receiving on my iMac:

There is no application set to open the document “p007509_BabaOFractal_20191206_151402 (1).syx”.
Search the App Store for an application that can open this document, or choose an existing application on your computer.

Previously, double-clicking on the download would work, but no mas... any suggestions?

Note, you are successfully downloading the files. They'll be a bunch of them in your Downloads folder now if you go and look.

Your browser is trying to open the file with an application after it has been downloaded and that's not working for you.

To fix this...

Right click on file.

Select Open With > Other...

In the window that opens make sure Enable: is set to "All Applications" not just "Recommended Applications".

Find Axe-Edit III and then press the "Open" button.

Check the "Always Open With" box as well.
