While I'm still only an AX8 user, I thought I'd share some info on my favorite album of the year so far, "As the Waters Cover the Sea" by the Norwegian band, Umpfel. It's an amazing album and the guitar playing/tones are all really incredible as well--and, as I noticed an Axe-Fx II being used in an older video by guitarist Anund Vikiingstad, I reached out and verified that his guitars on the new album are also recorded with the Fractal unit. (There are several guest guitarists on the album and I don't know for sure what they're using, but it's all awesome, IMO.)
As a starting point, I'll share the band's official videos for the singles (in the order they were published):
The entire album can be heard (and purchased) on Bandcamp here as well:
I'll bet there are quite a few folks here who will enjoy their tunes and tones.
