Ultra question

Hello all

I am looking at an Axe FX Ultra and was wondering if the editing software and the midi footswitch still works with the unit. Also does Fractal still give updates.

there is an edit but fractal doesn't support it any more. yes you can control it with midi. the mfc is configured for it you just have to select ultra in the mfc set up menu. no fractal has no longer given updates the ultra since 2011.

Thanks. I have one more question: Does the Ultra have the Tone Match like the II?

No, Tone match is not part of the firmware...however there are some who have found workarounds I believe to convert it to a file the Ultra can use...I never got into it though.
