Ultra - Axe-edit - MFC101

Hi there

Is it possible to set up the Ultra with the Axe-edit and the MFC101, so everything can run together ?

I have tried to make a chain in 2 different ways:

MFC101 out into inA midisport 2x2 outA into Ultra in, Ultra out into MFC101 in, or
MFC101 out into Ultra in, Ultra out into inA midisport 2x2 outA into MFC101.

In both cases, the MFC101 and the Ultra correspond fine, but the Axe-edit recognize nothing.

The Ultra works fine with the Axe-edit alone , through Midiman Midisport 2x2, running on my iMac 2,7 GHz, intel core i5, Macos 10.9.5

Do I need a midi splitter or something like that ?

Anyone out there ?
 
Connect all 4 Midisport ins/outs to Axe-FX and MFC outs/ins. In the AE MIDI settings menu you should see "MIDI" and "MERGE" tabs. (If MERGE isn't there you may want to install a newer version of AE which includes this function.) At the MIDI page select the ports connected to Axe-FX. At the MERGE page select the ports connected to MFC and enable both "echo" options.
