Turning on Wah via Footswitch

Hey All,

Is there a way to do this.....

I would like to be able to use a footswitch, say F1 to turn on my Wah, however I would like to have the wah stay off until the pedal is moved.

What do you think?

Just set it to turn on when you move it , fast med or slow. The save your switch for something else.

Problem is... I use the pedal with other effects. For example if the Delay is on, the pedal controls the mix. If my rotary is on it controls the speed and zero position is zero hertz.

What I am trying to do is have a footswitch 'Arm' the wah so it is ready until I put my foot down. If that footswitch isn't on then I can use the same pedal to modify other effects.

What I do for this is put the wah in a parallel row with a filter block after it with bypass set to mute. The wah has auto engage on, and the footswitch toggles the filter.

If you have a heal toe switch you would have an easier time trying to do this.

You will have to set the switch to turn off the other effect at the same time. Otherwise the pedal will be functioning both. Its easy to do. More difficult to explain on here.

I am thinking that there is not a way to do this. Arming the Wah using F1, but not having it engage until I touch the pedal.
