Trying for Fender spanky cleans

This is a EMG loaded Strat through the Axe into the amp then mic'd like I almost always do. I've had this thing for 2 months and I have yet to get that Fender Deluxe "jump out of the speaker" 3d biting clean. Today I got this close using the DrZ model.

Nice! When you say it was mic'd you do you mean you really mic'd it or you used one of the mic sims? (I always get confused with what's REALLY happening when I read stuff like this )

I am the oddbal of the Axe community. I run it through an amp effects return, Peavey Stereo Chrous 400, then mic it. I am more interested in getting live tones through the amp than recording it direct. I also commit the cardinal sin of running a cab sim into a combo speaker.
