TRUE? Line6 Variax cable to connect the AXEFX to the MC101? ????

I read some where that the lins 6 variax cable is a great quality cat5 cable that is perfect to connect the MC101 footcontroller to the AXEFX ll..

So I thought I would ask here as this is the source for the truth about the AXEFX from the users who own them.

I contacted Best-tronics about this a while back. They told me that the Variax and Ethercon cables are functionally the same.

I have a Variax cable I am hoping to use soon. I just need to pick up an Ethercon adapter for my make 1 MFC.

I use one to connect my AXE II MK 1 and MFC MK 1 via a VAfam rack plate and Ethercon adapter on my pedal board. Works great with no issues!

I used one a while back to connect my TC electronics G system pedal board to its brain and it worked perfectly (Even though the G system was a nightmare) so I thought it may also work here ..its kind of pricey but very good quality.
The nuertix style connectors give support as well.
