Troubleshooting my Mesa Tremoverb

You'll need a known good 12AX7 in the V1 and the V5. V5 is Reverb Driver (V5A) and Mixer (V5B). V1B is your
Reverb Return. So both of those tubes need to be in the amp and known to be non-microphonic and functioning
properly.

This. You probably just need some new preamp tubes.

Yup. Robbing Peter Preamp Tube to pay Paul Preamp Tube is probably not gonna work.

The plan was to go to GC Sunday and pick up two more new tubes so I'd have known good ones in both V1 and V5 and still have an extra to bounce around between the remaining three sockets. I unfortunately had an unexpectedly expensive weekend so, new plan: back in the corner until next payday with it. Luckily I'm obviously not in a hurry.

At least reverb tanks cost less than I expected. If I end up needing one they're under 30 bucks at Stew Mac.

Nope. It's still in the corner collecting dust. Haven't touched it at all since I last updated this thread. Thanks for the reminder actually.

Definitely let me/us know what the verdict is on the clean channel bleed thing. I have a feeling I'll need to take it to the tech for that.

Did anything ever come of this? Been wondering what the verdict was. Mine is still collecting dust.
