Travel Bags

I will be traveling soon for an extended period and would like to take my Axe-Fx III. Can you recommend a travel bag that can go through airport security? Any issues with TSA?

Are you planning to check it or carry it on? Multiple times per month we check our helix rack units with the floorboards in the SKB kemper/helix iSeries case. It also fits the ax3+FC12 with some modification of the foam.

For carryon something like the gator 3U shallow rack will be fine.

This thing is pretty great if you know that you’re going to handle the Axe at all times. Otherwise something more sturdier.

I have been kicking around building a wood case like an amp head but I travel a lot and want to take it with me. I was eyeing these different rack bags. Nice to here someone talk a bit about them thanks!

I've travelled with my Axe Fx III in this case at least a dozen times internationally without any issues. At most I've been asked to open the thing up so that airport security can do a manual swipe.
