I have the same set up as a back up! :shock:

Jonesin for one of those eight strings! Might have to sell off the back up Ultra Studio rig. (that I rarely ever use anyway)

Cool! I figured he would be an adopter soon enough. Last I checked he was using a POD Pro. He's a monster of a guitar player and apparently has fashion sense as well. :? Bonus points for rocking the 8 string guitar!
 
Pretty sure a POD XT was used for the AAL album. :?

Tosin's obviously moved on to bigger and better things. Theres a brand new video of him in EMG's studios playing "Wave of Babies" with just the Axe. He's a monster.

You're right...the tone on that video has way more depth and balls than what is on the album.

Still the album production is pretty good for a home recording...my main complaint is that the guitar just sounds very hollow at times. But judging by how good the Periphery album sounds in comparison I'm guessing Misha would be the first to admit he has learned a lot over the past year or two :-).
 
For the record, he ditched the VHT/Orange and is now using 2X Mackie HD1531 powered speakers. Bulb and the rest of Periphery followed suit.

Really... I wonder if thats why some were asking about the Mackie in the Amp forum, makes sense though. If it works out well it should be a monster of a speaker cab for that style of music. Tosin can sure tear up that 8 string. It would be interesting to see him and Vai get together and do something :o .

Yes it's true and I have a hard time believing the OP "caught up with him" last week without knowing this...
