I haven't tried using MIDI since my Axe-FX II
How do you switch sounds on your Axe fx then?

It’s a 2 channel pedal and it’s 200 $.
Nobody needs another recording interface.
No delay
With no midi it’s useless.
Is there at least a way to combine them if buy like 3 of them? Line having 6 tones at your feet?
More likely one with multiple channels. When you use a real amp on a gig do bring three different amps?
I now have an FM3, so I use the footswitches to switch sounds. But in actuality I mostly just ride my guitar volume knob between clean and overdrive and leave the FM3 aloneHow do you switch sounds on your Axe fx then?

That's 2 tones via the footswitch. 20 tones selectable using the buttons on the pedal; 20,000+ tones available to download for free that can be assigned to any of those 20 slots.200 bucks for 2 raw tones and no midi, I don’t think that’s a great deal at all.
Yes it’s small, but that’s a lot of money for 2 amps captures.
Sounds like a guitar amp! This was my first try to capture the FM9. Not too bad

If the Fm9 sounds like an amp, yes.Sounds like a guitar amp!
How close does it sound to your FM9 preset? If the Fm9 sounds like an amp, yes.
So close that you will not notice the difference. Nor do I. toneX passed the blind test. That was the question i was waiting forHow close does it sound to your FM9 preset?
. The clip consists of Fm9/toneX. I just played the riff twice and then switched FM9/ToneX after every measure.I‘m not the guitar volume type of player, but to me its close enough. The feeling overall is very good. I think in a blind test i would just notice the different noise gate.Does it react to a volume knob exactly like fm9?
Is there any perceivable sound or feel difference when lowering volume on the guitar?
Very good question. The acid test for any modeller or capture unit is whether the tone cleans up as the guitar volume knob is turned downDoes it react to a volume knob exactly like fm9?

That’s how you have to see the Tonex One too. As a two channel amp. One clean and one drive channel. For many situations that’s all you need (plus some effects).
I can answer my own question finally.Does it react to a volume knob exactly like fm9?
