Tone Match and Firmaware Updates

Hi everyone!

Last month I tone matched my old BOSS ME-5, which still hast some very unique sounds I wanted to get into the AXE.

I used V10.11 and the TM was really close to the ME-5. Since I updated to the incredible V11b, all of the Tone Matches sound complete different now (no wonder V10 --> V11 = mind blowing)

But just to get it technically right: Does that mean in general, that every time a significant Firmware Update comes out, you have to do a new TM? Or is there a "trick"?

Yes they will sound different.........buts it's even worse when you download new "firmaware" instead of firmware...

Probably, same thing for patches as well. I just don't update anymore.

Ok, so I think there is no "trick" to tweak the old TM. So I'll make a new TM as soon as the final V11 is released.
