Tommy Bolin - Post Toastie Sound

Has anyone tried to get the Tommy Bolin tone from Post Toastie on the FX III? The rhythm and lead tones are both killer. Any Ideas?

My Band's name is "Teaser", in homage to Tommy Bolin! And it's a cool name for a band that mashes some songs together.

Used to play "Wild Dogs" in my high school rock band as well.

Come Taste the Band is a very sleeper Deep Purple record. When Blackmore left, the rest of the band got creative freedom, very different vibe, yet still sounds like Purple(Jon Lord rules RIP)
Bolin replaces Blackmore, then replaces Joe Walsh in the James Gang.

One my fav guitarists from high school days. I once played this song in a college bar!

For that sound, it's definitely a Strat, probably with tone knob turned down, with a thick FUZZ in front of a Marshall amp I would bet.

I actually live in Iowa, but Sioux City is about 5 hours west of me. When I was in a touring band in the late 80’s, I played there several times for a week at a time, but have never made it to a Bolin Fest.
