Tips for Metalcore/Djent-ish Preset?

Im wanting something that isnt too beefy, and can have some good boosted mids for my pinch harmonics. Something similar to I, The Breather or The Crimson Armada.

Yeah, right now im basing my patch off of it but tweaking it a bit. I changed the amp and also added a gate in front of the signal chain to see what I could work with. It just still seems like its missing something that "oomph" in it.

Oh is there? It definitely seemed like it at lower volumes but I was just getting a lot of feedback with the output knob turned to around 1 o clock

i always use two gates.
But try a drive block before the amp with the "Mid Boost" and turn the tone up to about 8 and drive to about 5-6.

If you want a tighter sound, use less gain. Do the standard od808 with no gain and tone 10 in front of cab for extra tightness.
