I was thinking something similar. Great sound, great feeling, great music. Plastic clothes, plastic look, awful shoes. Looking very uncomfortable. The two didn't seem to mix well.

I agree with you. It's her PR folks that dress her up like that.

But what's important is the music is still very genuine and fantastic.

As far as female guitarists are concerned, Nori Bucci of Gamalon is pretty cool, too. More of a shred/fusion type, though.

And yeah, IMO Aleks looks way better in skinny jeans.
