This was the single best thing I've seen a manufacturer do this year in the whole industry. Great marketing and great gifts to the user base. Even learned about an artist or 2 I didn't know about.

Does anyone know if these Gift of Tone presets were released with the latest software at the time (in December 2022 it would have been FW20.xx for the Axe-Fx III, I think), or was it just whatever the artist happened to be using for firmware in their own rigs? The reason I ask is because I'd like to re-dial in some of them in lieu of the Cygnus X3 firmware, and it helps to know what the starting point was.

Each preset lists the minimum firmware for each device.

Each preset lists the minimum firmware for each device.

Which in almost all cases, was the version the preset was CREATED under, though a few were migrated forward after submission.
