Hi Folks,

Thought I'd post a jam and see if anyone fancies getting in on it with me. It a nice slow blues.
Here's the slot/sections up for grabs and the link to the file, as you can see I've taken the first one to get the ball rolling..

So all you do is post saying what section you would like to play on and then wait for the guy before you to post back the track with there solo and then download that and record you solo after there's. Simple.
It has to be done in order and that you have to post the full track and not just the section that you've played on.

Let me know if anyone has any questions.

Nice Hyde that's great solo for someone not used to playing that key. Fantastic stuff!!

Thanks Mork. This was good idea. You set the bar a little high with the first one 8) and it's interesting to hear the different styles in short bursts like this.

Great job guys, were the majority of these done with the axe? Where did you get such a nice backing track, that sounded really good also. Can't wait to hear the finished product.
 
Nice one Mr Old you'll be ok to do yours now even though Gira is next on the list as he said he was a bit busy.

Not sure about what the other guys have used but mine was done with an old POD XT Pro. Soon to be my mates new POD XT Pro if ya get me :)

I used Guitar Rig 4 with my Schecter Blackjack C-7.

Yo Ben, Smoking take man! That first note was sooooooo nice... Amazing feel and phrasing. This is turning into a great global jam and I'm loving it. Ben I'm in North Wales near a town called Rhyl do ya know it?

4) 2:58 - 3:49 GiRa (yet to play)
5) 3:49 - 4:39 OldHairyOne (played guitar rig 4)

As it stands I think the axe fx standard has the edge in the tone department. It cool to have a jam with lots of different gear being used.

Still one slot up for grabs guys so it would be ace to have an Ultra take part or even a Axe II, that's if any of the beta tester fancy a quick jam.

Yeah, I live in Penmaenmawr, just down the coast past Conwy from you. Small world.

And I agree about the Axe FX having the edge. Guitar Rig has some really nice cleans in it, but dirty it up too much and it starts to lack tone. Saving the quids for an Axe II right now.

EDIT: in the last mp3 there were some glitches at the very beginning (I cleared them) and in hyderipper's solo, can OldHairyOne reconvert it? I will do the same then.
