The Dear Hunter - Act IV distorted tone

For the life of me, I have not been able to get a mid/highish gain tone like they use. Any suggestions or matches?

Casey Crescenzo is listed as a mesa boogie artist. On equipboard.com he is listed as using a vox ac15, jcm900, mesa transatlantic, and a fender twin. Give the comparable amps in the axe a shot. Hope that helps!

I saw them last week and had a VIP ticket. Got to look close and the guitarists were using Mesa TA-30s. As MAYissues said, I'd focus on the amps listed on equipboard. The live tone was GREAT and their performance was magical.
