I just read this line on the Axe Wiki Amp Block page:
"The CHARACTER parameters in the Amp block are not available in Ares amp modeling."

Was it replaced with a different system? Or is it just gone?

Just saw that a bunch of other stuff (like pick attack) is gone, so same questions for all of those.

Well, Character and Pick Attack are available in the Dynamics section of the Amp Block for the Axe FX II. If your question is specific to the Axe FX III, you might try posting your question in that section.

Oh well that's nice to hear, because it's written like the features are completley gone.
I am asking about the XL.
Correct me if I'm wrong but Q10 includes (some) of Ares modeling?

I suspect they're completely gone in the Axe FX III, not its predecessor.
