The Beatles Get Back Documentary

I am not a subscriber (so many streaming services!!), but I will be definitely be
doing so to watch this----and maybe will stick around long enough to finally
check out the Mandolorian. I love to use that mode when I am playing guitar, too. ;)

According to Peter Jackson this was originally supposed to be a 2 hour made
for cinema doucmentary. Due to the pandemic he got stuck at home and it
turned into a 3 part series with each episode being 2 hours. Thank you, COVID!
Oh, thats interesting, did not know that... well I'm not sure about thanking covid but I really like seeing additional content and 3 parts sounds just awesome! 😍

Yeah, me either. I'd just rather watch it at home, and get 4 more hours. :)

Word has it that it crushes the myths about the Beatles breakup, and that even
Paul joked back then that in 50 years Yoko would get blamed. How prescient.

Kind of neat seeing those Silverface Fenders in the video preview above. Those were
brand spanking new and cutting edge at the time.

Hell yea, I was thinking the same thing, they really sounded great! Just finished watching it, overall mix sounds really good! Nice to have something to look forward to watch for the holidays!

I had a dream last night I was in Abbey Road jammin' with the Beatles.

George left (because I found out he was a really sensitive bloke and would
walk out on the band if offended), so they asked me to sit in and help out.

Definitely NOT a nightmare. :)
Did you try turning them on to FAS? :pager: :guitar: :tearsofjoy:

LOL! I have had a couple dreams in that category over the years. One had me and a bandmate walking in to Abbey Road, and hearing some Beatles tunes playing over the loudspeakers, and being invited by Sir George Martin to step up to the mic and sing on a track. Another had us walking into another studio, only to find the session drummer we had hired (via whatever agency rents out drummers) was none other than Ringo....
