20 GBP though which is like $30

Cool, thanks! But bummer - I don't have an XL. I wonder if I could buy the set and give it to someone with an XL in return for all the screenshots so I could recreate the settings.

EDIT: then again, it says "We put together a few Axe FX II presets" (emphasis added). Maybe it's just a picture of an XL?

EDIT2: I contacted them for clarification on what they're actually selling.

The guitar sound on this album is indeed very interesting! I can imagine the guitars by themselves sound horrible, but in the mix they fit very well, every instrument has its place. All in all the guitar sound is very different to what I've ever come across.

But more interesting would be the bass sound, which imho is the defining sound on this album.

Big part of the sound for guitars is the BKP blackhawks.

+1 On the request for someone to post samples. I know it's silly, but I feel weird buying a tonematch of an older generation Axe-Fx.

That said, I think the production on the album is absolutely stellar.
