I hear ya. Definitely no eyebrow-singeing there. I think I kept the gain fairly low as my threshold for distortion is to go up to the point right before where it starts mushing up on chugga-chuggahs.

There's a bit of tubbiness in the low end of the LD1 RED I haven't been able to dial out yet. If I can get it out of there, it'll be a keeper for me. Personally, I still prefer this mode over the LD2 RED. To me 2 is brittle and lacks body. When I had my TriAxis, it was one of the modes I avoided.
