Holy cow. This is impressive even if it doesn't sound great (and given it's TE I'm sure it sounds nothing less than good, but probably great).

At first I thought it was $199 and was ready to buy -- I, uh, missed a leading digit there! It's priced at Teenage Engineering prices.

Also of note: fixed at 48 kHz.

Well, people thought the OP-1 was expensive when it was introduced, but in retrospect that price was a bargain. $1200 though...that's gonna be a tough sell .

Will look great in Instagram posts showing it on a small wooden table at a coffee shop with some other TE gear, a skinny chai latte and a succulent…..
