Wish Talk box

A talk box simulator (something like the EH talking machine) would be so cool to have! I know there’s some formant block + some tricks to emulate it but it’s not so good at it

I have one for the wish list, add more vowels to the formant like a e i o u I have tinkered around with the formant a bit and honestly love it, but it seems to be missing some expressions.

Yeah, and then in combination with the filter block, sequencer, expression pedal tied to the appropriate parameter(s), you could get just about everything in the EHX pedal (which has now been discontinued).

EDIT: I just had an idea that might work, could be cool - use the 4 channels of the Formant block, set 4 distinct 3 Vowel combinations, 1 per channel, and 4 different LFOs, again 1 per channel, then toggle the channels with an expression pedal. Not sure if this will work the way I'm hoping it will, but I'm going to give it a go.

Moke's Livin on a prayer preset nails the talk box. It also works great for Man in the box.

What about using your 3rd output, running it into a POS amplifier (the uglier the better), outputting the amp to a cheap used driver with a tube adapter (might have to make that), into a chunk of tygon tubing and into your Boca. That’s basically how the original EHX talk box worked. Might take some experimentation, but I bet it can be done convincingly.
