suggest me a speaker

hello
i play fm4 plugged to an amp with my band in a studio switching off the amp simulation but i don’t like it. could you suggest me a portable stereo speacker to play there using the fm3 preset and simulations? how about. bose s1 pro? or boss cube street 2? i have to go direct to speakers cos i can’t use mixer there

In the studio, if you are plugged into the mixer and monitoring with headphones (or the PA speakers) you should absolutely have amp and cabinet simulation turned "ON". This really is the heart of the system in the studio environment. I can understand why your tone would not sound acceptable. I would start there.

If you have to go through a speaker cabinet, then FRFR is a good place to start. They can be expensive. I have a Friedman ASC-10 but a rarely use it because I am going through the PA 99% of the time.

Mission engineering has a couple variations of 1x12 and 2x12, powered and passive
FRFR powered speakers tend to be pricey, imo

ANY high quality, loud, full range PA speaker will work great. Get two of you want stereo.

Just plug into the PA and turn on amp/cab simulation. Unless your band doesn't use or have a PA system.

btw - It's an FM3 not FM4.
