Stupid question for the new year: Opening a preset in Axe-Edit?

Hi guys!

Could anyone tell me how you open a preset that's on your computer with Axe-Edit? I've tried import and the presets function, but I can't get it to work.

Axe Edit requires the AxeFX to be connected or it won't do anything.

Your Axe-Fx II needs to be connected and turned on. The preset file has to be a valid Axe-Fx II preset file.

Ah, so I need the Axe-FX II connected? I never needed that in the past with the old Axe-Edit, so I thought I could just open a preset like I used to. Thanks for the help guys!

Yes but the old AxeEdit could corrupt presets...
