AxeFxII with expression pedal doing Volume + Reverb Freeze. Reverb comes back through a Phaser block with slowly LFO modulated Rate and Mix (cross-fading directions in order to avoid intensity peaks in the phasing effect).
The Stratocaster electric guitar is my oldest favorite among all music instruments I have tried so far. This one I built myself out of Allparts spare parts to match a specific taste in electric tone. It has got single-coils with a bit scooped frequency response, making for a dual-pickups-in-parallel tone that doesn't feel too fat and muddy while it is still possible to do bluesy stuff on just the neck pickup (although it comes out a bit brighter than you're used to on a vintage strat). Oh, and the neck is for a left-handed guitar, which I think adds to the tone in a nice way (since I keep the strings flowing freely over the nut the total length between bridge and tuning pole makes more sense that way than in the original Fender design)
