strange behavior of input 1

Hi guys,

just detected some strange behaviour of my input 1
1. In I/O I set to analog Front but when I connect do the back I still have an input signal is this normal?

2. I can never turn the red light on at the left input. when I really hit the strings hard the right input even lights up.
Is this normal?

Part of this depends on how you are plugging into the rear input. Is that coming from a guitar, or from an amp's FX loop send? If it is the latter, you need to set input 1 to rear. What that does is turn off the software processing of the secret sauce for the input. You don't want that extra processing if the preamp stage is occurring before the AxeFx, or it will dull the tone.
