i searched for info on this but couldn't find anything, this weekend I have a church gig outside with only vocal monitoring so my usual straight to pa method won't work, the amp being provided is a really nice 50 watt Marshall clone with no fx loop so no 4cm. I setup a preset according to the manual using an fx loop block and output 2 but am not for sure how to set my levels and output. I'll be using fx only thanks

If you're doing just effects, this doesn't require using either an FX loop block or output 2.
Just plug into the front of the axe, make a preset with only "pedals," and then go straight out of OUT 1 into the amp head's input. With the front panel output knob on full, you'll have unity gain.
As you've pointed out, if there's no FX loop on the amp, you don't want to run any amp modeling into the front of the amp.
