Stereo cab recording help needed

Hi Everyone.

I have a basic Amp into Cab setup. Cab is set to stereo with 2 different outputs running into panned left and right inputs into UA Apollo 8P.

Trying to fine tune the cabinets and I ran into something and don't know why. When I mute the left side in the cab block, the gain goes up significantly on the right side and vice a versa. When I unmute, the gain for both channels goes to wear I set it to be.

What am I doing wrong and how can I fix it. it's in the axefx unit and not the D/A device

Yeah, that throws people sometimes. The idea behind this design is that the overall level is maintained. That's convenient when constructing a preset and you change your mind about the number of IR's that you want in the block, but it's a little awkward when temporarily muting IR's to troubleshoot a preset.
