Some Nirvana there, yep. But it's weird- Hollywood ending reminds me of something that Sheryl Crowe could have written. And the chord progression on the chorus feels like Foo Fighters.
Too much 90s in my ears :)

Agreed. Add 'Hole' to that list.
 
Just to say it, their vibe is kind of fun, but IMO the playing is mostly forgettable and Petty writes better songs.
Which probably makes me a geezer, but there you have it.

Of course Petty writes better songs. But did he do so at 19?

It's not about a contest. Cool if it's not your thing.

Pretty much my stance as well. At 19 I didn’t do anything of value for sure, “forgettable” or not. Let’s encourage this kind of thing, rather than criticize it or compare it to one in a billion artists that they, by the way, may become 10 years down the road. There’s simply no way to know. In the meanwhile, they’re putting out fresh sounding music and having a good time. By my 40s I only managed to nail down the latter.
