Stacking CLR Cabs, Good or Bad Idea?

Would there be any phasing or coupling issues with stacking two of the CLR cabs on top of each other to process a stereo signal?

That was asked of Jay on TGP, he didn't recommend stacking them. That was as much to avoid having one flat on the floor as much as anything else (be sure to set the switches correctly.) To be clear, they would NOT sound bad, just not optimal.

And to be even clearer, the sonic impact/issues are true with any stacked speakers, not just the CLR.
