I wouldn't be able to tell you off the top of my head and I don't have my Axe near me right now but I'd be pretty sure whichever Output you set SPDIF/AES Out Source to, the Global EQ you set up for the Output also gets applied to the SPDIF out.
Is your SPDIF/AES Out Source set to the Output you're modifying the Global EQ settings for? Edit: the gentleman below me is right, sorry!

For me, this is a perfect solution! In the rehersal room i plug to my FRFR with Global EQ to flatten the Speaker, in the Studio i go to my UAD Apollo per SPDIF with the pure, uneq‘ed Sound. So i never had to think about switching EQ on/off!
