SPDIF Input Monitoring

Hello,

Is it possible monitoring playback of the signal from the SPDIF input, just like the USB audio playback? Read the manual but nothing seems to describe my use case (or I haven’t found it yet) I have audio from HDMI ARC splitter that I wanna route to the speakers I have connected to my Axe FX III and monitor its playback

Thanks!

Have a look at the setup options in AXE-Edit.

Under Audio there are many possibilities to route a signal.

Here you can select SPDIF as digital input source.
and for example use input 4 for this purpose by switching input 4 to digital.

Now create a preset where input 4 can be routed directly or via a mixer block.
directly to your output e.g. output 1.

Now you should hear the SPDif signal.

It is still important that you determine the word clock source correctly.
Internal or SPDIF. so that the AXE-FX3 can align itself correctly to the time source.
