That is usually a simple eq curve or an ir of a space.

Like erockomania said, it's an extreme high and low cut with a considerable mid-boost. Almost like an upside down letter "U"

This sounds sweet. I still use the old Metal IR too .

What did use for the eerie sample in the intro?

Yep the "loFi" it's just extreme high and lowcut. Weird sounds in the intro comes from Omnisphere Bass is Axes ampeg with some post processing and guitars are completely dry from axe.
