about the amps: in "suckin' on a gun" you can hear two guitars in the verse (Brit 800) and in the chorus there are 4 guitars: The main pair is hard panned left/right (85-95) and reamped. I used three different ampmodels to get the tone: First a Recto New model, second a Diezel (Das Metal) and for the crunchier part of the sound I used a BritPre (You could also use a Brit 800 or 900, but the phase issues became a real problem).
The second pair of guitars is panned 45-55, and there I only used the Recto New and the Diezel.
The Solo is from the Peavey 5150 model.
The Clean Tone on "To the Wolves" is a Deluxe Verb.
All Cabs are stock V30/SM57 in HiRes Mono.
And by the way, the guitar is a heavily modified Yamaha RGX421D. A rather cheap peace of gear, but after I changed the neck PU to a Stealth Sustainiac and the bridge PU to a Dimarzio Steve's Special this thing became absolutely adorable!
We plan on recording a whole album, but I guess that's gonna take some time.
