thanks, I've not been able to get a bass tone I'm remotely happy with yet and its killing me!!!

For bass I just use a slighty less aggressive version of my rhythm guitar patch on one track, a straight up DI on another track, and a track sent through a sans amp pedal, mix tracks to taste.

thanks! if i recall the patch i used was the Herbie amp model into an Eq into the recto cab into another Eq.
