Í raised a query with Fractal as to whether they might be able to implement a concept of Screen Layouts ... similar to Footswitch Layouts (and indeed linked to Footswitch Layouts), the main screen content would change depending on what the footswitches were doing at the time.
For example, when on the Presets Layout, the screen shows a list of Presets - perhaps with varing levels of zoom? E.G. a small list, a big list, list shows bank size (and/or the bank before and after the current one). When on Scenes, it shows the Preset Name and the top, and a list of the Scenes (this screen already exists, albeit it would be good to link it to the Scenes Footswitch Layout and Views). When on the Songs/Setlist Layout, it shows the Set Name/Number across the top, and the list of songs below? When on Effects, it shows the Grid layout, again perhaps with varying levels of zoom? All these screens exist, however some need key presses to get to, whereas others (eg Scenes within a Preset) already work as per this concept.
They said it was a very cool idea, but not possible under the current architecture.
Then again - at one time it wasn't possible to get the latest reverbs from the Axe FX III into the FM3, and now it is
