Something is causing my GCP power supplies to stop working

I had a power supply go on me on Sunday. I bought a new one once I realised it was the power supply at fault, it was over 10 years old so I assumed it just gave up the ghost.

The new one has worked for about 10 mins and then nothing.

I've just done a quick pin to pin check on my 7 pin midi cable and nothing seems to be shorted.

I'm stuffed

sounds like you plug your power supply in the axe and feed the gcp with the 7 pin cable?
did you try power on the gcp and a 5 pin cable? that would eliminate the Axe part......
the original power supply output is 9v AC 500mA

That will be my next step once I get another power supply
