AFIII Some Les Paul A/B

These came about after a thread regarding guitar personality was posted. All my les pauls sound different, and to me all sound great.

First up: two custom shop les pauls, one with aftermarket A2 PAF and the other with CS T-tops



Second: two les paul standards tuned down to B (12-54) one with burstbucker 2 and the other with 498T

I think the lower output pickups are first on that clip so that makes sense. Different construction and pickups yet fairly similar tone under all that dirt!

I did a second R9/LPC comparison after doing some setup tweaks today, I think they sound a lot closer now:

Yes, here is almost unnoticable difference. Is it pre or post eq?

First clip: clean, distortion (brit pre), overdrive (plexi).

Second clip: clean, overdrive (klone low drive on clean scene).

No processing done to either track, just setup tweaks on both guitars.

got the black lp standard set up better and as expected, even closer in tone now
